That's freaky even when I was climbing around in the Sierra's playing at gold panning I never ran across a snake , seen plenty of Tarantula's & scorpions . We do have an infestation of the two legged variety around here ..................

 

In central and northern California lack of predators has let the wild turkey population get huge. We get flocks of around 50-100 all over the sierra foothills. Big suckers, I can tell you, you don't want to hit one at 70! I watched a bud take one through the windshield. About a 20 pound tom. Broke the shield and hit him in the chest. Im still amazed he got it stopped and didn't bail.

 

I hear these are going to be an option when the plant in India gets into full production.

 

When I lived in Tennessee, I ran over a Copperhead crossing the road. I looked in my mirror and saw it twisting and turning so I went back to see what happened to it. When I got back there it was continuing on it's way again so it wasn't hurt very much, but when I pulled up close enough to it, it coiled up and took a strike at my front tire. Freaked me out and I backed away as fast as I could. I imagined this thing coming around the side of my motorcycle and biting my leg.

 

Seen one (a snake at least 3' long) on the track during a motocross race once. A lot of us ran it over as it crossed the track, next lap it was gone. Guess it just kept on going or maybe a spectator grabbed it after we all went by. No idea what kind it was but this track was near water and heavily wooded.

 

Though about this on our trip 3weeks ago. Seen several on the roads in Miss and Ark, mostly all dead, don't know what kind they were and didn't stop to check, but it made me think.

What!!! you have never run into snakes or big *** snapping turtles...

Also it cracks me up you big bad bikers are afraid of snakes... WTF happens when you see a mouse?

 

if ya lock up your rear tire on yer bike or cage and slide over them, they make a loud popping sound...........

 

Whats cool if you squish them just after they ate a Mouse... Did that last year in my drive way...
