should a 2011 1200r motor have a choke on it and if not what was the last year the 1200r did have a choke?

 

No a 2011 would not have a choke, all 2011 are efi, and I dont even think a 1200r was made in 2011. Pretty sure 2008 was the last year of them.

 

would you know how to read the vin numbers on the motor.i am looking at a custom trike built on a lightning frame and the dealer has it advertised as a 2011
