About to buy a Licks NovDot w/Visormatic last min questions.
Well after seeing just what happened with the Bitwell's DOT looks like I'll be buying the Licks NovDot with the Visormatic.
What I am curious about is how close to size do they actually run??? My head is 23in so that would be a Large if they do run true to size?
Plus can anyone tell me if they like the Visormatic (shield) ? or does it get into the vision?
Thanks..

I just received my NovDot last week and I like it. My head measures 22 1/2 and I picked up a large. Due to my oval shaped head I still had pressure points on the front and back of my head and the sides were a little looser than I'd like, however I have this issue with pretty much every helmet I've ever tried. I was able to push in some of the padding and now it feels pretty good, nice and light. If your head is more round then a large should be perfect.
While I did not get the Visormatic I have read a good bit about it online and from what I saw the general consensus is it's not really worth the money.

You may want to check out the Daytona 3/4 helmets if you have a oval head shape. The newer ones fit my oval head pretty decent. I have an older one that is more round than oval and it is a no go as far as fit and comfort. But the newer one (had it for nearly 2 yrs) is money. The difference between the two I have is the newer one has removable ear pads and the older one does not.

I've had my NovDot for about a month now in size L (I measure out at 22-1/2"). I find the fit to be pretty comfy all around but maybe just a tad too snug around the ears- should loosen a little over time. On cooler days I use the Bell Retro shield.
