I have a chance to pick up a denim blue Night Train at a fairly good price.
I do like the denim black but can't make up my mind on the blue.
I guess I need to go look at it again.

If you like it go for it man! I saw the night train on with the denim blue paint and it looks pretty bad @ss. That would bemy choice if I was to get a good deal on a night train.Goodluck.CHITO

 

I think they look OK, but I am concerned how they will look in the near future. I have been told that they will scratch easily. I don't know for sure, but it makes sense to me with no clear coat protectant. Good luck with your choice.

 

my bob is denim black...as it was meant to be.. but i gotta say i like the blue denim
i dont think i'd have it on my bike...as im not a big fan of blue in general,
but i do like the look of the flat/matte finish....it has a "sheen" not a "shine"
would make an interesting 2-tone color with either a gloss or another flat/matte color
like a flat blue base w/ gloss black scallops and goldleaf pinstripe seperating the two...
or vice-versa

as far as the wear issue goes...ive had mine['06 bob] for just over a year now[7k miles] and have had no issues w/ the paint whatsoever...cant say that for the vivid black bob of wifey's!

 

i have denim black bob and i think its wicked (evil lookin), the pewter denim is awesome too, the blue is my least fav.

 

Personally,

The blue looks like it was painted by a 13 year old kid in a dirt lot on a windy day. First time ever painting....just looks BAD.

They do have a clear coat, it just isn't a glossy finish. It will be a problem thoughif you rub it and cause a shiny spot.
