I have just purchased a 1995 Road King after 20 years without a motor cycle and there is a red P on the speedo that stays on. What is it and what does that mean. Probably a dumb question, but the individual that I purchased it from does not have a clue.

I'm thinking maybe you bought a Police Road King and the P means "Pursuit". And yes, I am serious. You should be able to verify this with the VIN.
