Same thing here , had my hart attack on April 4 of this year . Like you ,mine was a mild one . I stayed off the bike for a little bit ,once I got my strength back I was riding every day .
I even went to Sturgis for the first time this year. I put on around 2200 miles on the trip. Had a blast ,cant wait to go again.

Just take care of your self , and you and your grandson will be riding for a long long time together .
Best of luck to you my friend.

You are now gonna be monitored by a cardiologist, so you prolly ARE healthier now, like the one poster said. When you feel up to it--take him around the block, or very local for awhile. Gonna be too cold to ride up there anyway in a couple weeks, if not already.

BTW the DO give you card--mine had bar codes on it & said "Cordis". They fell apart after a couple years.
Never heard of or received any sort of card.

Good luck and I'm sure your grandson will understand.

Here is the one I received. Not sure why they want you to carry it at all times but they must have a reason

Interesting. Maybe the stents I have are from another manufacturer? Either way I never received a card.

I say ride as much as possible. That grandson will enjoy every moment. I ride the grandaughter every chance I get. I have taken her for short rides since she was 5 yrs old, she is now 9 and can reach all the footrests.

I have had 3 open hearts surgeries and 10 stents. Thanks to agent orange and a trip to the land of the big PX. No heart attacks. I do most things I want to do, just not as long and as often.

Yes I received a card to carry at all times. One stent and I feel great. Thank again.
