Agreed. I have two sets of glasses for night riding with the yellow lenses. Makes a huge difference over the clear lenses.

Contrary to popular belief, yellow lensesduring darknessdo not brighten things up! During the hours of dawn and dusk, yellow is great! After it's dark, everything is still dark and all light just becomes yellow. So you have to get used to everything you can see being yellow. Clear at night is my suggestion, but everybody is different...

 

I'm gonna have to disagree with the yellow lens! I thought they worked well at night, with traffic and all, but when I went wizzin' past that thirdy point buck and didn't see the sob until he was right beside me, that's when I went to clear!!! The yellow seemed to soften the light, brighten the road, but darken anything that wasn't in my headlight.

 

I use oakely interchangeable lenses yellow for night or rain,dark for days
