Pay for it, or always be looking over your shoulder.

Something, anything to make ir your own. Never wanted any of my bikes to look just like 10,000 other guys out there with the same bike.

What was stated above. Most people do a stage one as a minimum. Just do what you want to it....as long as you ride it.

Pick a theme for chrome goodies, pick out the part numbers, and create a list of wants. Post your list on the fridge and tell the wife and kids any gifts to dad should come off the list.

Take out a large loan for all the mods. Spend all your money and time modding it. Then when you're done, sell the bike, lose all the money you spent on the mods, buy a new Harley, and start over.

1. Fill fuel tank
2. Ride
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2

Anything else is optional, other than paying for it and insuring it of course.

Ride it.
Get rid of the chicken strips on the tires
Ride it some more
Take your time looking for what to do with it
Ride it some more
Don't pick the same parts that 99% of the other weekend warriors get..else you'll look just like 99% of the other bikes out there
Ride it even more
Do something to it that no one else can go out and buy and do to theirs.
Ride it
Don't worry about what others think..don't be a copy cat
