Default Removing headlight reflector???

I have a aftermarket hella 7" headlamp that converted my sealed beam to a h4 bulb. It came with a 60/55w bulb. The lighting is better then stock but still sucks compared to my buddies newer factory lights.

So the question I have is can I remove the reflector on the inside of the lamp housing? Would it make my light brighter/ more light down the road or is it just going to mess up the beam pattern?

Thanks for the input.

Take off the diffuser which blocks the light in front. It is usually screwed on or can be broken off very easily.

Sorry that's what I meant. Called it the wrong thing. When first installed the light I thought about it but couldnt get it loose so I just left. I didnt want to break a new housing that I just got in the mail. This time around since I had to remove the whole housing to work on something else I figured Wth its not that bright of a light anyways. Came rIght out. It's brighter for sure. Now my aux lIghts need a upgrade to match.
