Soft Lowers?

RE: Soft Lowers?
Love em. Put em on when you need em & take em off when you don't. I carry them in a saddlebag. You can bet that when you need them, you won't care how they look...

RE: Soft Lowers?
I have them. They DO work. Well enough to make me want hard ones.
Mine don't fit well, and I had to remove my pegs to use them ( I had the pegsmounted lower so I could rest my feet on the boards and put my toes on the pegs sometimes ). My main concern is that they are a flat surface- I can really feel the bad aerodynamic effect in buffetting winds.
I ordered some hard lowers because I like the 'quiet' on my lower legs. The soft ones are OK, but I hope the curve of the hard ones move through the air better.

I had a pair on my flht. I put them on if it was cooler than 50. Made a noticable difference on my legs. Also kept splashes from getting to me. They were a little tough to get snapped if I tried to put them on in the cold, so I'd warm them up inside before I put em on. Real easy to remove if it warms up. I'd recommend them.

I don't have them, but I borrowed a set to ride down to Daytona in 2005. They worked great, 18 degrees when we left, rain and snow on the way home. I was glad I had them.
