What year did Harley start selling Black motorcycles. I rarely see a 'Vintage' Black Harley.

You mean they actually come in colors other than black?

 

..the same year Henry Ford offered an alternative to black...and guess who got a real good deal on some surplus paint...and they have never looked back.

Seriously, according to a book that I have- Up until 1906,they were only available in piano black.

I hear you can get Pearl in your black now. But it cost$ extra, if you can believe that !
