Question helmet lock

Is there a good helmet lock solution for an FLSTC since the bags don't lock and don't have room for a helmet even if they did? Yes, this is a serious question as there are times I'd like to not have to carry my helmet with me and don't want it stolen from hanging on the grip or sitting on the seat and I don't know this part of know it all yet.

How do you use a gun lock to secure the helmet to the bike and what gun lock as the only thing that comes to mind right off is a trigger lock?

i think im going to buy this one http://www.cyclesolutions.net/produc...met-Lock-BLACK. its a little pricey but it looks nice and i feel like it would be more secure than a gun lock...plus, most gun locks ive seen (including my springfield armory one) is made of metal/aluminum/whatever and id be scared to scratch the bike and helmet.

I bought one from Harley. Mounts on the engine guard or down tubes.

I use these. Put it trought the D rings and around the mirror stem. Works great and you get to choose the combo.

I use a padlock on the mirror. Simple and cheap.
