No **** , have any allergies the mold thing can hospitalize you wearing after a while not to mention the potential cooty funk you can catch from it .

The hydrogen peroxide/baking soda mixture is the way to go. The peroxide will kill everything without hurting the fabric. The baking soda will absorb the odors. I use lysol for daily refreshing. I also wear a bandana as a helmet liner.

Funny ****...I shave my head and i sweat a lot... i buy helmet fresh and helmet cleaner foam...it works...I would use this after i use either a 10:1 bleach/water mix or Peroxide/baking soda mix of some kind...Best to buy a new helmet.
