You guys are nuts. I try to run 91 over the 89 w ethanol here, but if I get caught it isn't a big deal.
FWIW, I run 89 exclusively in my truck. I am in the farming business, so I support where I can.

In my area I am lucky to have two stations with 91 octane no alcohol. Better yet they are on their own hose.

I think if riders have it avail to them they would be amazed how much better the bike runs with it and improved mpg. If you travel, and have a smart phone you can go to www.puregas.org and download an app that will tell you, by state, where you can get the good stuff.
I use this before every long trip. And if I forget to, Android users can download E-Zero app.

All of our fuel with the exception of a few marinas and airfields contains 10% ethanol. I heard of a product Star Tron and started using it in my 04 flstci and autos. I dont think I notice and difference, but hey...makes me feel better!!

The thing for me is from a refining stand point ethanol is a night mare. I posted a link earlier post in this thread. No politics just facts. For one thing you cannot put ethanol in a pipeline. It has to be trucked from point to point. How much do you think that adds to cost?
