Default Bike tries to move forward when starting.

When I start my bike, it will try to move forward a little. I have the clutch in and when I ride the clutch seems to work fine. I have tried adjusting the clutch via the clutch cable, but doesnt seem to do it. What else can i try?

Thanks in advance.

Try starting it in neutral. If I have it in gear and pull the clutch in to start it feels like it wants to move. Just your scoot wanting to run!! LET THAT BABY FREE!!

Does it happen on every start or just when cold? If every start, then yes adjust the clutch pack.

Default Same

I don't start mine in gear often but the few times I have for whatever reason it does the same must be just the way it is. Don't believe they were designed to be started in gear, seems easy enough to just put it in neutral.

Clutch plates are just touching oil level by design and when used the oil film will get between the plates which will allow them to slip when the lever is pulled. After sitting the oil will drip out of the clutch ASM and dry plates will tend to stick together when you are starting up. Check your primary oil level to specification and start in neutral

If only when cold then perfectly normal! Start in neutral.
