Should have done it 10 -15 years ago. But kids and family and finances did not allow.
Was worth the wait! I will make up for those missed years in riding every chance i get

RE: Are you happy with your Harley decision?
Tell you what, I'm certainly motivated to wait for a Harley rather than drop any cash on anything else right now. I listened to a Yamaha V-Star get started up last week... ick. Honestly, it sounded like a lawn mower. The Triumph my buddy let me ride was cool, but way too quiet for me. I could barely tell the thing was on. Haven't had a chance to try a Honda or a Suzuki yet, and I'm not going to even waste my time with Kawasaki's Vulcan series. Not impressed. I'm really wanting to hold out for a Harley. That's gotta say something.

Yes. Happy as can be.
I can guarantee, if I was not happy with my Fat Boy SE, you would be reading about it on this forum.

RE: Are you happy with your Harley decision?
Nope. I didn't do much homeworkand I purchased the bike unseen. If I had it to do over, I'd have bought a RK or Street Glide. I really hate the silver powder coat engine on the Softail Standard and I ended up buying all the chrome parts to cover it up. I hate the 21" tire and in process of putting a 16" on it. I've done more modifications on it and should have just boughta different bike. But, I was given a good deal and couldn't pass it up. Hopefully after the front wheel modification, I'll be done with the changes and be satisified with it.

NOPE and YES.....yes becuase finally got my first HARLEY an 89 FLHS and the price was really great for it....but should have checked into things a lot more first...as I am extremely short in the legs......any how I am in the process of trying to lower it....have dropped 2" and still on toes....now thinking about changing frames (any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated).....have given some thoughts that maybe would be better to sell it and get something different.....we live and learn.
