Default 110 Anniversary Hotels

I am looking for a hotel room for 110th Anniversary. Anyone know if any organization (like HOG) has a block of rooms reserved for members? I’ve used the usual hotel finders and they are showing all room reserved. Thanks.

This late it may be virtually impossible....I made my reservation the following day that rooms were available to HOG members and was able to secure rooms in Brookfield....

I think you're going to have a hard time finding rooms close or in-town....

Most Hotels I've tried calling only book out up to 13 months in advance. Try calling them direct this month to get in. I have our room booked at Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport, but am going to try calling Sleep Inn at the end of the month to save some $$ (stayed there last year and it was a straight shot to the Museum).

There is a sh*t ton of hotels/motels in and near the Milwaukee area. Don't overlook the smaller mom and pop outfits. Of course the big chains are booked. But, I have to believe that the smaller places have rooms. I would check areas like Mequon, Cedarburg, Port Washington, Grafton, Saukville, West Bend etc. The highways move well here so you can be 40 miles away but still only 30 minutes from the action. Of course, I will say that riding at night in the non metro areas present dangers of the 4 legged kind, so use caution.

Any hotel recommendations? Places where you've had friends or family stay.

wife and i were in milwaukee for rally. stayed at downtown hotel. have stayed there several times and i asked about rooms. manager told he wasn't sure what was going on as to early. he told me he would call when he has info. so i gave him my cell number and hes supposed to call. said he heard rooms might go for as high as 500 a night. i told him I'm out at that price and he said he could help with suburban hotels lower prices. good luck.

I think this could be fun, but I've never been to Wisconsin, much less Milwaukee.
