Question Fatty extra front lifgts

Thinking of fitting auxiliary front head lights to my 08 fatty is this a DIY task???

And can anyone give some idea as to cost and best place to purchase.

Concerns are the extra power draw on the system and can you get LED versions that are worth fitting.

Is there an easy fit kit, do you spice into the main wiring does it need a relay????

Help needed
Please advice or is this best left to the main dealer

Default aux lighting

Put 2 aux lights on front. Went hd lighting for all 3 lights. No draw issues. My dealer installed for free. Cost of lights at the time were around 900 .00.

I bought the running lights and installed them myself. I sure didn't pay $900.00 for them..........USD or CND!!!!

It's not a tough job, you might get the parts you need used on Ebay.
I'm not sure about LEDS though, my lights were the regular kind.
Took me just an evening in the garage, and it was done.
These are the lights I added. Got them at a discount online.

No relay was needed, they connected to the wires inside the nacelle.

For that price they better have installed them for free, wow. Did you run the LED bulbs or something? I'm looking at adding some to my Lo, and I'm piecing stuff off EBAY. I'm planning to get the bar from a RK, and the lights off a heritage setup and have them PC flat black...maybe $300 in parts by the time I'm finished.
