Looking for opinions on "fair price"
Hello everyone!
I'm new to this site and will start off by asking a question. I'm looking at a 1994FLSTNHeritage Softail® Nostalgia for sale in my area. This bike has about 4000 miles, second owner and is almost completely stock. The condition of this bike is like new.
Question: What do you, the experts, believe this bike is worth?
Thanks in advance,
KRUZ N

Thats exceptionally low miles,throw away the book on that one.I mean new they're around 18g's. To me it would be worth around12-14 G's.

If I am not mistaken the 1994 is the one they called the"Moo Glide" because of the black and white cowhide seat. This bike, especially with such low mileage, might have some collectors value if it is in original shape with the original parts including the seat.

Kelly Blue Book has the bike listed as follows:
Trade-in = $7,965
Retail = $ 11,765
The mileage is really low on the bike so that might add some, however if you ever decide to trade it in yourself you have to think of that and don't wanna take it in the backside. That being said I think I would say that somewhere between $11K and $12K would be a fair starting price. But that is just my opinion.

Call a few dealers and give them the spec's and ask them how much they would put into it as a trade. This is still a 14 year old (going on 15)motorcycle and the low mileage would concern me. What was the history of maintenance? How long do you plan on keeping it? What about ultimate resale? This is old technology and if I couldn't steal it, I'd pay a few bucks more and get something more current. Call HD Credit and see what repos are available.
