Nicely expressed, concise and to the point. More impressive is that you were able to ride safely, have fun, and still assess surrounding situations. So much of this can be lost if riding too much "in our own head". Glad you made the trip and decided to share.

Interesting write-up, thanks. Like most riders I think about going, although it's a helluva ways from the east coast. Then I look at the pictures of downtown with the gazillion bikes parked and conclude that the crowd is not for me. Your observations and perspective were interesting.
