Instead of you guys searching for it.......here it is
"I bought a set of Southern Motorcycle Works Wheels and they came out really nice.....but also thinking of buying a 23" from Southern. This is kinda cool......I went to to Sturgis this week and saw quite a few of those Southern wheels. Actually I was watching a street bagger contest and heard someone on the P.A. say Southern Motorcycle Works. I went to check it out and some dude had his bike on stage with the same set of wheels I had on mine. And they were handing him a trophy. Talked to him a bit and thought he was some how affiliated with them. Come to find out he just modified his bike with their wheels (of course some other stuff) and beat out a ton of other bikes. So needless to say, I was pretty happy with the selection of wheels I purchased. I am also glad there is some positive posts in these forums and hope that someone at Southern gets a chance to read these. Keep up the good work guys.
About your 23", I had a buddy of mine with a 23" and I got a chance to ride his scooter. I could not tell much of a difference and I don't believe he raked the frame. He had it on a 06 Street Glide....I do know you have to change the fender. He also had a 11.5 single disk on his bike. I heard if you goto the 13" it pulls a bit to the left during hard braking, so I would definitely stick with the 11.5. He didn't have a Southern Motorcycle Works Wheel, but he is also thinking of switching to one of their contrast wheels. Good luck and hope this helps."
