It is an interesting design. But I think the main issue in terms of aesthetics is that the high-tech 'racer' look of the sharknose fairing does not fit well with the classic look of the bike itself. But then that is entirely subjective, as are all likes and dislikes. How it rides is probably more important than aesthetics for most buyers interested in the model. They also may prefer the look.

Really? Where is the proof to support this claim?

70% of all statistics are made up.

They just did a re-design on the Shark Nose a few years ago.
Harley is great about keeping secrets. That salesman doesn't know anything everybody else doesn't already know. He's full of it. Nobody knows about the new models (except colors) until the dealer meeting which, I believe, is a couple weeks away.

I was just wondering if it might be something major rather than minor. Somebody out there has to know...

you may not think so, and the thought of it may just tweak you a little if you don't happen to own a shark nose, but i'll submit this for your consideration. go into any hd dealer. how many used road glides do you see on the floor? how many used batwings?

now granted this is a completely non scientific comparison, and only about 5 or 6 dealers in my travels, but if its this way in my area, i would be willing to bet its this way in a lot of other areas.
