Road king or Street glide

To answer your question about handling in traffic, I've got an SG and did a good half-hour stopping/walking/riding to work this morning before finally being able to get back up to highway speeds. No problems but this bike ain't no lane splitter. I've been to Manila and that traffic is rough compared to anything Stateside.
Just urious, you gonna buy there or ship it in? I've read it costs about the price of the bike to ship one into the RP.

Agree with Fly-Boy. I'm quite familiar with how bad traffic can be in the MM area. No comparison even on rush hour on the 405. All types of vehicles in Manila with drivers who can never stay on their lanes! Forget about splitting lanes there. You'll be sitting behind a bus inhaling diesel fumes.

Thanks for the advice. I guess the RK has a bit more clearance which is good as the potholes can swallow up a scooter here. If they handle about the same in traffic, will probably get the RK and keep my Dyna for bar runs.
There is no dealer in Philippines. Cause of the organization I work for, dont have to pay taxes so shipping a bike over from the US, which is a lot cheaper than buying in Singapore. A RK is a little over $30k in Singapore. I could actually sell the bike in 3 years and get what I paid for it.

I'm curious why you think there's a difference. I have a RKC and it's both fun and great for touring - just back from a 2000 km week with my wife. Is it just the fairing? Or?
