Road king or Street glide

I owned a RK for years. I now own a SG. I'd have to give the advantage to the SG. Like mentioned before, Stero, and it's comfortable. Great features if caught in traffic.
Either one, you can't go wrong.

I like both bikes and would have a hard time making up my mind as well. I'm thinking I'd probably end up with the RK simply because you can take off the windshield when you don't want it. And with the money I saved over the SG I could do some mods.

If you typically ride in heavy traffic why not just keep the Superglide? I love my bike however if I had to deal with stop and go all the time I may want something a little smaller/lighter, I don’t know.
Which one should you get, if you’re set on it? If you don’t need the tunes/batwing then I would go with the King. If "I" were to get another bike right now (shorter distance bike with less crap on it) I would probably get the King.

I had an '09 Road King, thought I might be better off (an old guy thing) with a lighter scooter so I sold the RK and bought a new '11 Street Bob. I liked the Street Bob but I really missed my bagger. Two weeks ago I traded the Street Bob in on a new '12 Road Kind. Life is good!

RK versus RG
Don, You might already have the better bike for where you live. I have lived in the Philippines on 3 different tours of duty in the military; am married to a Filipino and own a vacation home in the mountains on the island of Bohol, Philippines. The Manila traffic is much worse than LA ever was and it can get hot as hell sitting in traffic in Manila unless you ride after the sun goes down. I would think the fairing of either a Road Glide or Street Glide would make it unbearably hot. You mentioned Road King, at least on that bike you could pop off the windshield if needed on a hot day. Good luck on whatever you decide and stay safe in that crazy Manila traffic, you don’t want to end up as a hood ornament on the front end of a Jeepney.
