Rain, Hail, Sleet, Snow, Sand. Yea Sand. Ya ride long enough and far enough ya probably gonna see most of it.

Don't like it, not afraid of it.

I'll ride in the rain to get out of the rain when I have to... Generally don't like to if it is not necessary.

Hey oakspeed... I like that Avatar you got there

My bike is my daily commuter.

Will I pick up one day and just go for a ride in the rain? No, but I won't let it stop me from riding for my morning commute. It beats stuffing into a cramped train and subway, sharing air with all the mouth-breathers and infected vermin in DC.

Besides, my bike gets a free wash, as does my helmet then. :-D

Got caught in a down pour yesterday. Stopped and bought some nice rain gear on my way home. Now I'll get even more rides in!

I don't leave home in rain, but I have no problem riding in it. Happens all the time on road trips. Only downside is having to wash the bike.

What surprises me is the number of folks who don't carry rain gear.

I guess it was about ten years ago I did a headon with hurricane Lily in Mississippi. Does that count?

Riding in the rain is just part of it. We all know what it is.
