Its raining right now in Phoenix, and I am out of soda. I will stay out of soda till the rain stops, and I REALLY want some soda!

Lately I wish I could. I did ride in rain many times, sometimes on purpose. I wouldn't cancel a trip because of it. Started out in a downpour once and encountered 3 twisters coming across a field at us. We sped up and got out of the path.

I've poured water out of my horn.

I'll take the bike anywhere unless I need to pick up something that's too big to carry on the bike.

The real question is "do you stop and put rain gear on if you're only going another 10 miles when it starts to rain?" Silly me, didn't realize how bad the rain was going to get, ended up completely soaked (dripping wet soaked, water wicked into boots & squishing soaked) and had to stay that way for 5 hours before I could go home.

FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK!!!
Today the OL and I rode up to Flag to catch the CARDS red and white practice.(not that red&white) I decided to wear my full face today........... just in case. Lucky for me I did.
The practice was cool to watch. The OL had fun. Then we rode down to catch To broke for Sturgis. Sitten under the tent watchin the bike games and its gettin darker and darker. Then it starts dumping. I sent a text to my buddy askin him where he was....... blah blah blah............ he sends me the radar pic. HOLY ****!!!!! We sat under that tent for an hour hour and a half, and it let up a little. We run out and put our rain suits on and it starts dumping again. **** it. Its comin up from the south and its solid all the way to Payson, so we take off, headin south, right through it. About 50 miles of downpour. Ridin up on the rim freezin our ASSES off. Dumb me, didnt think it would be that cold. Had sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts in the saddlebags.
The OL was a trooper. She didnt bitch or complain about it one bit.

I fully intend to ride in everything except snow and ice, but being a new rider im still nervous about losing traction in the rain. go a lil slower then most.
