Default Windshield---WOW

Just got my quick release WS from Zanotti's and put it on. Went for a spin on the big road and 75 mph no longer wants to rip me off the bike. WOW what a difference!!!
For whatever reason it seems to mellow out the sound from the SE11 exhaust. Maybe because most of the wind is deflected over my helmet.Had a little buffeting around the helmet but nothing on the chest and not bad at all. The top of the WS is about chin high...
It did suck a full pack of smokes out of my t-shirt pocket around 70...Must build up negative pressure because I have ridden hundreds of miles and never had that happen without a WS...
Makes me wonder why I got the quick release since I will almost certainly leave it on......Very comfy riding...
Also put on a set of driving lights but I will probably move them because the WS blocks them a little...
I be a happy camper....
Oh and for all you folks in the ice belt the temp is around 78 here today!!!

Edited to add pics...

Yep, windshields make a huge difference! Weirdly enough I still prefer to go w/out WS when the temps are above 80 degrees. When it gets hot you'll sweat behind a windshield. I figure hot air is better than none or a little. You'll definitely want to ride more in cooler temps now!

Congrats. I was the same way and after riding with one I thought "what was I doing all those years". I still take mine off for around town runs sometimes. So I'm extremely happy with the quick detach feature.

The quick release makes it alot easier to remove when cleaning the bike. Mines on cold or hot (now that I can realize the added comfort) when around town or on HWY.

Where we ride Skipit, we need it for the bugs in the Central Valley!

My windshield stays on all the time.

I took the WS off my Road King once and road it for about ten miles and when I got home I put it back on and have never taken it off since. Except for cleaning the bike.
