If you qualify, get Lasik.

I switch between prescription sunglasses (normally used during heavy sunlight) and Guard Dog OTGs with lenses that change during darkness or when the weather keeps changing.

Gotta say this is not an easy thing to deal with. I finally went with contacts a year ago to be able to wear real sunglasses. Transitions just never got dark enough for me. I find the contacts seem to get a little dry when riding, but other than that it works for me. I find having multiple pairs of glasses to carry to be impractical, too.
I carry a small bottle of Visine drops and am back in business.
Never tried Lasick, of course, but people I know who have had it swear by it. There's the cost to consider, of course

I tried on a pair of clears that fit over my eyeglasses a few years ago. I didn't buy them at the time for whatever reason but have never found anything since.

These look cool! Comes with 3 lenses!

I wear contacts when I am going very far.

Made the switch to contacts about 6 years ago. I'll keep wearing contacts as long as I can. Just feel better. (When I do put on my glasses, like when I'm cleaning my contacts, it feels like tunnel vision--hate it!)

You can keep your favorite sunglasses. Easy.

Did this about a year ago. Since I am still in the Service, Uncle Sam paid the bill. No more over-the-glasses-glasses!

If you want a few pairs of RX glasses and sunglasses check with Zenni optical - great costs.

I paid for my wife to get Lasik shortly after we met. It was 3k back then (about 15 years ago) but I got tired of her having problems with her contacts while riding with me. Some of the best money I have ever spent.
