Like most of the big advertising attorneys, he does referrals. Unless you happen to get in an accident exactly where he practices, a call to him will simply get you referred to an attorney near you. Here's a clip from the fine print of his web site.

Motorcycle Accident Attorneys Russ Brown and Chuck Koro can get you the best motorcycle accident lawyer in your city or state anywhere in the US.

Now, theres nothing wrong with using Russ Brown OR ANY OTHER MOTORCYCLE REFERRAL ATTORNEY. They do great things for our community and way of life. Just don't expect to have Russ Brown standing next to you when the judge starts the trial. Have I ever used him for a personal injury case, or had him refer a client to me, no. But that doesn't mean he may not be the right person for YOU to call.

Thanks for the insight.
Yep, got the referral to a local. Wasn't interested in Russ, just a reputable lawyer knowledgeable in motorcycle injury / damage cases.

When I got hurt, Butch called Aid To Injured Motorcyclists. The lawyer we got basically threw me under the bus...All the while bitching that he had to have his Maserati trailored to Houston to get a new key made.

Just because someone is referred from a big name company, does not necessarily mean you are getting the best representation.
