Where else can you have a whole weekend of entertainment for $40? Union County Fairgrounds is where and it's not for the local fair. You can enjoy live music all weekend, browse vendor booths, watch races, wrestle in pudding, take in a bike show, and much more at Little Sturgis Bike Rally. There's a bike show and a poker run too. It's one big party.

Best part? It benefits local charities. Since their beginning, the folks promoting this event have raised almost 2 million dollars. Not bad considering they only had 2,000 people show up for the inaugural event in 1993. They had 20,000 or more bikers converge for the 15th anniversary celebration. Camp sites are first come, first served. Recent litigation with Sturgis, SD over the use of the name "Sturgis" has put this event on hold.

 

It's now called "Kentucky Bike Rally" and is being held this weekend I believe.

 

There's always Apple's 9 th Annual EAST COAST MOTORCYCLE RALLY. Apple mtn. Maryland. A whole week of good ol' biker fun. Aug 8 - 12.

 

They killed the Sturgis South Rally as well (in Sturgis, Mississippi).

I went the last year they held it (2010).

It was my first year there. Had a great time will be attending this event again. The rain sucked but it was worth every drop that hit us. LOL

 

You guys should Check out Beanblossom Biker Fest , it is the weekend after labor day, it is a real good time in the little hills of brown county Indiana, about 1 1/2 hours north of Louisville Ky. It costs 50.00 per person Thursday to Sunday.
It is held at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park, Bands, Bike Show, Redneck Olympics, and Field Events.
