Default custom springer question...

Whats up guys, I plan on getting a softail soon, either a standard, duece or night train, not sure yet...Im probably going to rip into it as soon as I get it so Im looking for a cheaper model.2006 and up... I was curious to see if I was to buy a standard softail and put a springer on it what would I need to get to squeeze a 23 inch wheel in it.. I was thinking a 4 or 2 under springer with maybe a 3* rake to it if I can find it..Can anyone help me out with it..

A stock Harley Springer has negative rake built in so getting a 3 degree rake would be an aftermarket front end. The 23 will fit with no issues from what I have found, as long as you don't care about a front fender.

If you come across a Springer bike to start with it might save you some hassle.

I know its aftermarket but I was thinking of going to a 2 or 4 under so the front would be lower to match the back, I dont want the front end sticking up higher then the back...
