Trailers

RE: Trailers
I pulled trailers many miles behind a Goldwing, only problem I had was forgetting the trailer was there. I did have to down shift more on hills and in the mountains. Be advised my local Harley dealer said if I pulled a trailer they would void my warrentee. If your bike is new, I would think about this as it could affect your bike if something happened. (he also said Harley had reps that attended large bike functions looking for bikes with trailers and/or trailer hitches) Just wanted you to be aware before you do it. Herb

RE: Trailers
I pull a Bushtec Trailer with no problem. Have had the bike to the dealer twice for warranty work and encountered no issue. I think it depends on how big of an a$$ the dealer is if there is a warranty issue. I have 17k on the bike and about 12k on the trailer.
The picture I am linking to was taken right after I got the trailer. I have since added a cooler to the tongue.

RE: Trailers
I purchased my Bushtec Roadstar in December of 2005 and pulled it approximately 4,500 miles this summer; the only problem was I kept kicking myself saying "why didn't I buy one sooner".
This Sept. I traded my 2001 Ultra on a 2007 Ultra with the 6 speed tranny; Waiting for the warm weather to take it on a long trip to see how the 6 speed does.
