Sorry to hear of yet another preventable accident. People need to open their eyes. Heal fast

 

I go through that intersection everyday, most folks are always looking right to see traffic coming down the mountain, I'm usually on the air horn to get them to look left at me. Just one of those spots where you gotta be ready for action. Allthough that knowledge is from years of riding in that area, Good Luck to you, In fact I drove through there and saw your bike on the kickstand and the cops, firemen and ambulance all doing there thing. As I went by I didn't notice the damage to your bike if that was yours. I believe it was tuesday.

i've got to disagree with a lot of posters on here though. this was not an accident. this was negligence, pure and simple.

 

Glad to hear you & your wife are ok. These kind of stories **** me off, I'm sure the driver will get a slap on the wrist.

 

Dude!! You don't have to go to that much trouble to remove those reflectors! A little heat and they'll peel right off!

OP, glad to hear that you and the wife are still with us. You could have very easily been another statistic on motorcycle accidents caused by car drivers that have their collective heads up their asses.

Do yourself a huge favor, and lawyer up right NOW. You deserve full compensation for the loss of your bike, along with all medical bills, to include pain and suffering because of her negligence. Do not put this off.

Heal up quick, and keep us informed here on how this case progresses.

You are very lucky. Glad you did not get kill. But you need to face the fact that she did not see you because she has not learned to look properly. It's still 100% totally her fault even if she did not see you. She would not have see an 18 wheel truck either and if had been that she would be dead. People turn kids loose in cars way too soon and also think saying I did not see him or her means something.
