I'm looking for a local indie mechanic that I can use when I need to do things out of my ability or even time schedule. Talking with my local dealer I can see already that I'll be raped if I go to them for anything.

I plan to look around the web and drive around my town but I started thinking that I might get a good lead from one or two of you guys. I'd love to locate a good mechanic this way over trial and error.
