I sent an email to my local HA in Wales and they replied " the top and bottom rockers are NOT acceptable to us and from a distance may be confused for a motorcycle club and may cause misunderstandings"
So there you have it, not a stupid question after all.

They have been removed and straight / oblong patches sewn on instead, as suggested by HA. Why take a chance.

Answers coming from the US will be wrong.

UK (all Europe) have vastly diff protocols.

you will be fine in england i would think! bottom rockers more cause problems in the US and australia, i have heard of a hog member being made to remove a bottom rocker on the spot by MC in oz!
