No tea and crumpets, but I can bring the donair...

This site has been invaluable, both for the reads and the info! Though I try not to ask questions 'til I do a forum search on a topic and read up through the handy-dandy shop manual; that keeps me off the radar!

You'll just wait and see what sort of guys we are. Post a thread with a slightly controversial topic, sit back and watch what kinda crap comes flying your way. Just make sure that when the dust settles one of us buys you a pint.
Welcome aboard. The show has started!

Ya.. this is a great forum filled with valuable information and opinions from some old plugs that been in bikes since they were in diapers. I've learned plenty about my softail. The money you guys help spend is balanced out by the money saved by not dealing with some vendors and the ability to keep the bike out of the dealer or indy for some basic bike maintance.
I sit here and ROFL at some of the posts, you guys are crazy and I got total agreeance from my wife who asks me whats so funny and then I read her the post.
Well Done and Cheers to all those who spend a few minutes on a keyboard to help us out with a problem, a past experience or sharing some comedy.

I compare this forum to smoking. I smoked for many, many years (30) tried to quit countless times but would always start back up. That's the way this forum is. I've sworn it off several times but always end up back here.

I was able to finally stop the smoking. I used the expense as the reason I finally was able to give them up. Now I spend all the $$$ I use to spend on smokes, on the bike.

Not sure where I was going with this.....Guess I'll have to take a ride and see if I can get my train of thought back.

If you want to be super popular on here start a thread about assless chaps, fingerless gloves, what type of biker you or someone else is. Oh we really like RUB threads...
Have fun, be popular!!

Oh and WELCOME to the insanity..
