I would guess the PJ1 20wt would be thicker. If you're not running any type of aftermarket valve in the fork I would use Amsoil 10wt. It will give you a bit firmer ride without being harsh.

The MoCo isn't real big on releasing most product specs. Independent tests that I have seen published indicate the Type E oil to be a 5-7 weight.

That would be my guess also. IMO though, you are never going to find a definitive answer because manufacturers do not comply to a "standard" (as with motor oils). The closest I've come to an actual answer is this thread, which I started quite some time ago. That said, I think your best bet is to get the opinion of someone you trust that has experience with the different fork oils (i.e., NOT a Harley dealership).

There is no apples to apples with fork oils..

Each brand seems to have their own standard...

the info I've found on MoCo is
E is 5 wt
B is 10 wt
SE is 15 wt
SE heavy (racing) is 20 wt

When I had my Indy change my fork oil last yr, they had 10-15-20. and I don't remember what brand it was..

Seems like they used the 15 or 20, it for sure was heavier than the (E) HD oil.
I noticed it was a little firmer at first.. then after a few rides it seems like I could have even went with a little Heavier...

I've read most go with the SE 15.. but U'll have to decide on that.

I can't think of a reason NOT to run Screamin' Eagle Performance - Heavy fork oil in my Road King. I run Bel Ray fork oil in my other bikes.
