Help with my Helmet

RE: Help with my Helmet
I made up a short plastic covered cable that you can see hanging off my right side saddle bag, in my signature picture. I store it thereto keep the lock from rubbing against any paint or chrome surface when it's not in use. I put my helmet over the sissy bar and run the cable through it to lock it in place.

No joke. just a rookie street rider looking for better ideas.
One thing I've learned is no matter how smart I think I am someone else always has a better idea. All I have to do is ask!
I like and appreciate the ideas!

outdoorgirl57 had a good idea of using a dog choke chain and small pad-lock to secure your helmet.
Small, compact, and especially inexpensive.
I have also seen the Harley bracket at the dealer, it looks simple enough as well
