Default freezing in phoenix

Man wanted to ride the last 2 days and tomorrow and instead so. cal is sending us the cold stuff now. Woke up and it was 42 degrees and cloudy for the second straight day here in Arizona??? This is getting to be a ridicuously cold winter. A lot of days in the mid 50's which is way too cold to be cruising in IMHO.... Wow, if I didn't know any better I'd say the world was ending soon!!!!! Of course mid 70's next week again when I'm back at work!

One of the rules of living in the desert is we are only allowed to gloat when it's warm, not complain when it's cold

It was 65 here in Tucson yesterday. Chilly today, only in the mid 50's. Better keep that parka handy.

We were just talking about this in the touring thread. A 90 deg swing is major to the body no matter where you live. I got in 150 miles...I went to the benefet ride for Maj. Gilbert the pilot shot down over Iraq. It is suppose to get down to freezing or below tonight.

12 degrees & snow here in SE Nebraska. When it's in the 40's here, that's riding weather. Throw on the leather jacket , chaps, & a pair of gloves & I'm good to go. I guess you just get used to it. We're not supposed to be above low 20's for the next week.

If the high for the day is over 40 degrees I am riding. I commute on my bike about 35 miles when it is only 30 degrees out.
