No MSRP price tags?

No MSRP price tags?
I visited a couple of HD dealers in Florida, and both places didn't have the price tags (MSRP) on the bikes.
I found that weird since the Indiana dealers I've visited all had prices on their bikes.
Is this so they can charge whatever or what?

Geeze, I feel bad for the folks who don't do their homework before they stop at a stealership...........

I live in Florida and all the dealers I have been to do that. Usually the only bikes that have a price on them are the ones they have done some upgrades to. Not even their used bikes will have a price on them. It gets kind of annoying.

This is so that when you really dig a specific bike....thay can jack up the price, add on a dealership prep and handling fees + transportation and really give you the shaft.
Bottom line is to do your homework to find the best deal, and, be prepared to travel a bit to get your new bike.

Yep... and HD has made billions on the gullible and uninformed.

My local dealer has tags on some of the bikes. Usually it's the ones with all the extra doo dads that don't have tags, and those are the ones that I usually want to see the price breakdown on. I guess they figure if you are serious enough about buying, you'll ask.

Only one dealer in this area has tags with the MSRP. Yup, if you are looking to buy, you HAVE to do your homework ahead of time, otherwise, most dealers WILL screw you. Some won't. Most will.
