Default Absolutely sick...

Of Barnett's HD. Its been nearly 2 weeks since I took my bike in to get fixed, and all they have done is order the parts. Took them a week to order them, and now they say it will be another week -10 days before the parts get there and they can start working on it, all over a broken exhaust stud. Makes me wish that I hadn't bought a Harley.

We can all sympathize your pain. A buddy of mine just had a similar experience, but after one week, decided to go and get his bike and take a local indy shop instead.

If I were you, I would do the same - go and get your bike and bring it to an indy. He will likely have it done in a day or two.

Just remember, it's not the MOCO's fault. Bolts and things break.

I would take it to another shop, but I have the ESP on it and they said it would only take 4 days. If i had the money I would have just bought the heads and done it myself

Did you book your bike's repair in before you dropped it off or did you just go there and left it to get sorted? Now there's a difference I think. If that particular dealer is busy, which is maybe the case, you may just be waiting your turn. He ordered the parts so when your turn comes they are ready to go.
Or did you expect them to drop everything to get you sorted and by doing that make somebody else wait. Now that would be selfish i.m.h.o.

If it is just an exhaust stud, that doesn't require new heads, just replace the stud. Not a big expense.
