When I bought my 07 FXSTC in late 06 I also got the seven year extended warranty which I have never had to use. Here's the question: the dealer I got my bike from went belly up a couple of years ago so does anyone know how or if I can transfer the warranty to another dealership? Thanks.

 

Call another dealer or the ins co and ask.

What you have is actually a service contract, not a warranty. The company that issued the contract should honor it no matter where you take the bike. If it was not an HD contract but an aftermarket policy you need to find out from them what other dealers will honor it.

 

Your ols selling dealer has nothing to do with the warranty. it's good at any HD dealer

 

you can even go to an indy. All the person doing the repair needs to do is call and get an approval from the insurer to do the work.
