Great site, I’ve been wanting to do something similar as well. I’m completely jealous that you can take nice, big trips like you have planned. I can usually get about 8 days max before I have to do the “work” thing again. I’d be more than happy to make some excellent dining recommendations for when you’re in the Des Moines, Iowa area.

Just enjoyed your site, I live in the UK but keep my Harley in Florida, each year we do a road trip. This year will be our biggest: Tampa - Chicago - LA, with a few detours (not all planned) we will be leaving the RK in LA (with friends) and then return in the spring to take a ride back. Reading your adventures makes me wanna get on the plane now, not wait till September!
