Tour pak lid organizer
I would like to find out how to get this organizer to stay on the underside of my tour pak lid. I do not have a luggage rack on top with the four screws so its double sided tape did not work and epoxy did not work. I'm open for any suggestions. I miss not having it when you open that lid. I keep everything that does not weigh much in it. HELP

Tried velcro?
3M makes some velcro that is "hooks" on both sides. Holds like a ****. The glue on it is pretty good too. Just make sure the area your sticking the velcro too is clean of all grease and oil, and maybe rough up the area a bit with a brillo pad for a little more adhesion.

Pulled the old tape off, used "goo gone" and paper towels to remove all the old residue (there was plenty, it took hours), wiped everything down with isopropyl alcohol (both the tour pack inner lid and the liner), applied 3M exterior mounting double sided tape to liner back and waited 24 hours, then applied to lid interior.
So far, so good, but it's only been a month. The 100 degree temps out here really stress the bond.

i just redid my organizer as well the lousy sticky tape dealer installed lasted maybe 6 months. I reinstalled with the double sided 3m as mentioned earlier and took 5 lbs of junk out and put in saddlebags. it lasted 1200 miles this week so far so good.

I thought I had to have the lid organizer also. All I can say is that after I too finally got it to stick by wiping the backside of the organizer as well as the underside of the lid I decided that it is the biggest waste of money spent on my Harley. Totally useless in my opinion.

If you have a luggage rack, get 4 bolts about 1/2 inch longer than the ones holding the rack on, also I added a jamb nut to act as a spacer

Mine wouldn't stick either. I was fortunate enough to have the luggage rack on it. I used a bit longer bolts with large diameter fender washers on the inside, that took care of it.
