There is a company that makes frames to suit Sporty motors and some Buells
Some of their stuff looks good

They use a frame based on the Manx frame that is light weight and handles better than any harley frame.
Use a good doner front end off a Buell, add a set of clip on bars, rear set pegs and you hang with any cafe crowd around.
Use an early Buell motor and leave 'em for dead provided you can ride

'04 Dyna cafe racer, but still probably slow in comparison.

I think if I was wanting cafe' style and performance, I would sell the sporty outright and use the money to buy a used buell. Same motor but already has 101 horsepower, killer brakes and top notch suspension. Your already half way to a cafe and you'll have money in the bank to work with because sporties sell for quite a bit more than you can pick up the same year buell for.
