Default Update on the Tsunami Harley..

When a Harley Davidson lost by a Japanese rider who lost it in the Tsunami in March, 2011 was found on the west coast of Canada, there was an offer by MoCo to restore the machine and return it to it's original owner. Below is a link for an update of what is being done. This story just keeps getting cooler and cooler!!!

I hope that when this gut gets back on his fett, he'll be offered a new Harley by someone generous...

I havent been keeping up with this, so I'll just ask is Harley
going to give the guy back his bike, or keep it and he can buy
another, or will Harley give him another bike to replace it?

Poor guy lost 3 family members. I think it would take a lot to get that bike restored and make it run right. Corrosion must have gotten deep down in the engine, electrical system ruined, frame integrity questionable. I wonder if the guy had insurance that will get him a new one. It's got to be deemed a total loss even though they found it.
Will make a striking exhibit at the museum, knowing the carnage that the tsunami caused.
