Remember this one?

A very good friend of mine owns one of these. I tried like hell to get him to come ride with us last weekend but he said it is too hard to operate the foot controls anymore. He was afraid he would drop it. He is 70 something years young!!!!!

It would be easy to go in many directions here;

1. The Japanese deserve it after WWII but
2. No individual Japanese family deserves this. No one deserves to have the sea devour their family.
3. Some from WWII and after might feel that after taking all the auto work from the US, much of the 80's were fearful of how the Japanese were invading the US with their new money, sound familiar? Now its Dubai.

I hope the gentleman can rebuild his life again, it will be very difficult given all the radiation being allowed out (Tepco is not capping the breech).

Harley Davidson's PR campaign may help their image within the US but will they survive the tsunami of knock-off bikes (Intruder?!? & Kawasaki) being made throughout the east? I have my doubts.

Good luck to Mr. Yokoyama, I personally wish him a quiet life.

.
