Fatboy Lo-Vivid Black or Denim black?

IMHO, denim looks unfinished & way too "trendy" & played out. Looks good on a custom bike, but looks poserish on a factory bike. Nothing beats a high gloss on any vehicle. When it ain't "trendy" anymore, you're gonna hafta fork over some bux to have it painted.
I would also go one further & get the standard Fatboy instead of the Lo. More classic looking, and the frame on the Lo looks unfinished in that matte color.

A couple of months ago I bought my 5th Harley, the 1st four were vivid black. The dealer had two left over '11's on the floor, one vivid black and one denim black - same price. Changed my mind several times but in the end I rode the denim one home. In the past, I have ragged on denim scooters, looks like primer, etc. But I really like the denim, durable and easy to clean. The dealer gave me a bottle of HD denim cleaner, works great, just spray it on and wipe it off. Life is good!

I disagree most polls show that alot of people like the denim over the vivid even on other MC forums. The guys that dont like it have been saying for years that its just a trend. its not a trend anymore cause its still around many years later. Im considering buying a Night rod right now and asked the same question on the Vrod forums and to guys and girls i know in person! Denim wins every time! I think only 2 people said vivid! Now im not bashing vivid at all cause i like it im just stating the facts!

The denim paint looks good clean and new. I have not seen many used ones in the dealership to see how it weathers not sure how much I would like the look then.
