along with bugs, sand, tossed cigs, small rocks ect ect

 

- Texas state bird...the Cricket. Or June Bug. OUCH!
- Sun, air in general...
- Bandana far cooler than helmet

 

WTF? 47 years in the saddle............never even thought about a bandana. Buncha' candy asses riding these days.

My riding partner, Bill, farts a lot.

 

I'm new here and don't ride as much as I used to but this is what I was thinking too. I wore a bandana on my bald head but never across the face. WTF? Well, once, in a driving thunderstorm coming back from Sturgis many years ago when I lived in Colorado. Of course crossing the pass on 70 after midnight in August soaking wet through all the leather wasn't a load of laughs either. The temp dropped to about 40* at the tunnel. Had a good case of hypothermia that night by the time I got home to Edwards.

 

 

the only time i wore one on my face was so i could breathe when it was raining so hard i felt like i was gonna drown going down the road. that and so everyone doesn't know i'm singing toto's greatest hits.
