Default Severe Sputtering and stalling

I have an "03" RoadKingclassic. If you start the bike up and leave it on the stand it will idle all day long. As soon as I bring the bike upright or lean it to the right side the bike stalls out. Is this possiblt a bad BAS. If so is it something that I can replace myself or does it have to go to the dealer??? ANYBODY!

Sounds like fuel problem. If you have a carb. I would suspect water or junk in the tank. If your bike is fuel injected it could be water or junk. It could also be a fuel pickup problem.

Could be a tip-over sensor if it has one.

Is it carbureted, and does it have the stock air cleaner? I had the same problem with my '02 Dyna T-Sport recently, with the Keihin carb and stock aircleaner. What happened was I replaced the air cleaner-to-carb gasket. I put the new gasket on upside down, and it fit perfectly, but blocked off the carb float chamber vent. Ran fine on side stand, died when upright. Just about drove me nuts for three weeks trying to figure it out, because the gasket stays with the air cleaner box when you remove it, so you can't see what's wrong.
